Iconic has a worldwide exclusive license from Yale University to issued patents and patent applications covering structure and all therapeutic uses of hI-con1™.

hI-con1™ was conceived and developed by Drs. Alan Garen and Zhiwei Hu at Yale University. Patent applications have been filed internationally by Yale. Composition-of-matter applications have been granted in several countries (see, e.g., US 6924359, EP 1198479 and AU 775621). Additional patents and pending patent applications cover methods of use of hI-con1™ for therapeutic purposes, including for the treatment of wet adult macular degeneration and cancer. Iconic has obtained a worldwide exclusive license to these patents from Yale University.
